Compared to previous seasons, the Humboldt Tourist Train now operates on an adjusted schedule that better meets your needs. We focus primarily on one-time trips, special trips, and custom events.
Discover the most beautiful parts of Teplice and the Šanov district from the comfort of the Humboldt tourist train. This unique experience is enhanced by an engaging guided tour in German led by our professional tour guide. Learn why Teplice was once called “Little Paris” or why it is home to the oldest spa resorts in Central Europe.
The train’s pickup and drop-off locations can be arranged upon request. We’d be happy to help you put together an interesting tour tailored to your wishes and preferences. The Humboldt has 50 seats. The train can be booked with or without a tour guide.

Our train does not operate on a regular schedule. This allows us to offer more special rides and respond flexibly to factors such as current weather conditions or traffic restrictions, so you can truly enjoy the ride. We will inform you of the exact dates in advance on our website, at the information center, and on social media. The guided tour during the special ride will be conducted in Czech.
Adult - 150,- CZK
Kid - 70,- CZK (from 5 to 15 years)
Family - 300,- CZK (2 + 2)
The classic guided tour begins and ends at Svobody Square (“Freedom Square” – below the steps of Teplice City Hall). It passes through the Old Town, specifically across Castle Square and through the Castle Gardens, and continues along Lípová Street (Linden Street) to Šanovský Park and through the villa district to the Botanical Garden. On the way back, it passes Zeyer Square with St. Elizabeth’s Church and returns to Svobody Square.
The tour runs from April to October at scheduled times.
