The Imperial Spa is one of the most significant historical buildings in Teplice and a symbol of the town’s long-standing spa tradition. Built at the end of the 19th century in a rich Neo-Renaissance style, its ornate decoration, majestic halls and elegant colonnade evoke the atmosphere of Europe’s famed spa destinations.
Throughout its history, the Imperial Spa has welcomed many notable personalities, including Emperor Franz Joseph I and Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. Visitors can admire the beautiful interiors, the impressive staircase and the representative spaces that reflect the golden age of Teplice’s spa culture.
Following an extensive renovation, the Imperial Spa now hosts various cultural events and features a new thermal pool called the “Imperial Bath”. It is the perfect place for anyone wishing to immerse themselves in the unique spa ambience and rich history of Teplice.
